Use a ring you already have

Take a ring that fits well on that finger. Measure its inner diameter with a ruler (in mm) and look it up in the chart.

Use a strip of paper or a thread

Wrap it around the base of the finger, mark where it meets, and measure the length in mm. That is your circumference: look it up in the chart.

Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are more swollen.
Make sure the ring passes easily over the knuckle.
